Grain, not guns: MEA rejects Russia’s claim on deadly ship attack that killed 4 Indians

India’s Ministry of External Affairs stated the MV Golden Leo carried grain, not weapons. This contradicts Russia’s assertion regarding the ship’s cargo and its attack. The vessel’s tragic incident resulted in the deaths of four Indian seafarers. India reiterated its concerns to Russia’s foreign minister during a recent meeting. Attacks on commercial shipping and seafarers are unacceptable under any circumstances.
