‘Grave sin’: Hindu body demands temples be freed from government control amid Ram Mandir donation case

The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has demanded an immediate investigation into alleged embezzlement of offerings at the Ayodhya Ram Temple. The organization described the situation as a ‘grave sin’ and urged the government to take strict action. HJS reiterated its long-standing demand for temples to be managed solely by devotees, arguing that government control fosters corruption and that genuine devotees are best suited to safeguard religious institutions.
