Heavy rain causes cave-in on Ganga Expressway ramp, carpet used as quick fix

A Ganga Expressway ramp in Unnao experienced a cave-in after heavy rainfall on Tuesday. Workers temporarily covered the damaged section to divert gushing rainwater effectively. The concessionaire and contractor swiftly repaired the affected portion within two and a half hours. Continuous rain also caused waterlogging at the nearby toll plaza on the expressway. Long-term measures are planned to prevent future waterlogging issues at the toll booths.
