Heavy rainfall, uprooted trees, power outages: Cyclone Murasu crosses Andhra coast

The cyclonic storm MURASU took a north-northwest path, striking south Andhra Pradesh early Tuesday. This powerful storm brought substantial rainfall, with some regions receiving over 16 cm, leading to significant disruptions. As the storm weakens into a deep depression by midnight, residents in low-lying areas are urged to brace for potential flooding.
