How an ex-Buddhist monk & Meta engineer founded a startup that now rivals Accenture

Lilly Chen, a former Buddhist monk and Meta software engineer, founded Contenda after a hackathon. She and three friends turned a pandemic-era project into a successful startup. The company focuses on helping businesses repurpose technical content effectively. Contenda secured one million dollars in pre-seed funding in March 2021. Chen now leads the company as its chief executive officer.
