The evacuation allowed individuals to leave amidst dire conditions of starvation and exhaustion. Three planes carrying evacuees successfully landed at an airport in Belarus as part of a coordinated operation. Both Russian and Ukrainian authorities confirmed the operation was conducted without any incidents.
