Idaho is building a $20.8m wildlife crossing to help deer migrate safely

The Rocky Point Wildlife Underpass, located in southeast Idaho, is on track for completion this fall. This significant infrastructure project aims to enhance safety for both wildlife and motorists on US Highway 30. With three designated crossings and carefully constructed fencing, it showcases the collaboration of multiple state and conservation organizations. Additionally, Idaho is exploring other regions to establish more wildlife crossings.
