Idaho man built one bed in garage; 14 years later, idea delivered 396,000 beds

What began as a single homemade bunk bed in 2012 has blossomed into a widespread volunteer movement, Sleep in Heavenly Peace. With over 400 chapters in the U.S. and Canada, this initiative has successfully built and distributed hundreds of thousands of beds for children in need. Through Bunks Across America, volunteers unite for larger projects, ensuring every child has a comfortable place to sleep.
