In 2024, Pennsylvania couple bought 101 acres; by 2026 all were protected

In 2024, Jeff and Betsy Yingling bought 101 acres in Freedom Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania, and soon began considering how to protect the land permanently. After living there and seeing its wildlife, cropland, wooded areas and changing scenery, they decided to place a preservation easement on the property. The easement was finalised in August 2026, permanently protecting all 101 acres for future generations.
