In a 1st, thousands of Kedarnath pilgrims bring back tonnes of trash from shrine

In an unprecedented initiative, thousands of pilgrims at Kedarnath are carrying down plastic waste voluntarily. The local administration’s ‘Carry Me Back’ campaign has facilitated the collection of over 12 tonnes of waste. Volunteers from various states, including Tamil Nadu and Odisha, are actively participating in the effort.
