Indian-origin CEO spent Rs 3.5 crore on girlfriend, then asked for it back

An Indian businessman found himself in a courtroom in Singapore, trying to retrieve more than ₹3.5 crore from his former girlfriend, claiming it was a series of interest-free loans. The woman countered that these were simply gifts made out of genuine affection. The Singapore High Court sided with her, ruling in her favor and mandating the businessman to pay her legal costs.
