Iran calls US response to seven-day Hormuz proposal ‘insufficient’

Iran’s Supreme National Security Council secretary Mohsen Rezaei stated that the US response was insufficient to Iran’s conditions. Tehran proposed a seven-day plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and resume nuclear negotiations. Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi indicated that the negotiations are ongoing, with messages exchanged through mediators. As tensions rise, Washington reportedly prepares military options against Iran amid ongoing discussions.
