‘Join BJP and take on me’: Mamata Banerjee challenges TMC ‘traitors’, takes over as Bengal unit chief

Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee has challenged rebel leaders to join the BJP directly, accusing the saffron party of instigating dissent. She questioned their timing, asking why their grievances weren’t raised during their long tenures as TMC representatives. Banerjee emphasized the loyalty of party workers and warned rebels against betraying voters. This comes as Chandrima Bhattacharya, recently appointed state unit chief, joined the dissident faction.
