JPSC ‘irregularities’: Supreme Court issues notice to Centre, state after CBI probe plea

The Supreme Court has acknowledged a plea requesting a CBI investigation into alleged exam malpractices, prompting widespread protests in Ranchi. In response, police have filed three FIRs against the demonstrators. Students are calling for accountability concerning irregularities in the Jharkhand civil services examination. Opposition leader Babulal Marandi accused ruling party members of attacking the protesters. The court has also requested responses from the Centre, Jharkhand government, and JPSC.
