Kerala: Toddler dies after anaesthesia for lip cut; doctor booked for negligence

An anaesthetist faces negligence charges after a toddler died following anaesthesia administration. The one-and-a-half-year-old boy received anaesthesia for a lip injury treatment. His condition worsened, and he was moved to another hospital for further care. The child unfortunately passed away while undergoing intensive treatment in the ICU. Hospital authorities have denied the allegations and stated all possible treatment was provided.
