Loose-lipped, drunken bar confession exposes murder of 16-year-old eloped girl

A week-long mystery ended with the exhumation of a 16-year-old girl’s body. The accused minor boy’s uncle confessed to the crime while intoxicated. The teenagers had eloped from Bengaluru and were living as daily wage earners. An argument led to an accidental discharge of a gun, causing the girl’s death. Police have taken the accused into custody and are investigating the incident.
