Meet Pankaj Kamboj, who turned repeated defence exam setbacks into CAPF success

UPSC success story: Pankaj Kamboj’s journey to clearing the UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant examination is marked by repeated setbacks across competitive exams. After failing UPSC CSE Prelims three times and facing several SSB rejections, he continued preparing through self-study while clearing CDS and AFCAT multiple times. Coming from a farming family near the Uttar Pradesh-Uttarakhand border, Kamboj credits his mother for motivating him. He has now cleared CAPF while continuing his UPSC Civil Services journey after clearing Prelims on his fourth attempt.
