Mere use of word ‘bastard’ without sexual element not obscenity: Supreme Court

The Supreme Court clarified that using the word “bastard” alone, without sexual intent, doesn’t constitute obscenity under IPC Section 294. Justices noted that such terms, common in heated arguments, don’t inherently appeal to prurient interests.
