Meta sued by former manager who claims he was fired over immigration letter

A former Meta manager filed a lawsuit alleging wrongful termination after objecting to an immigration letter. James Tillinghast claimed the letter overstated an employee’s contributions and responsibilities. He also alleged Meta provided preferential immigration support to certain Chinese national employees. Tillinghast believes his dismissal was retaliation for raising these concerns. The lawsuit names Meta Platforms and a manager as defendants.
