MG eyes up to 80% sales from ‘new energy’ vehicles

JSW MG Motor India is increasing its focus on new-energy vehicles this year. Higher fuel costs and awareness of savings are driving EV adoption significantly. The company expects new-energy vehicles to comprise eighty percent of its total sales. MG will introduce its first plug-in hybrid later this financial year. This new platform supports various new energy vehicle types on one base.
