Microsoft responds to customer ‘complaints’, tells LG to remove pop-up ads

Microsoft has asked LG to disable McAfee promotional pop-ups from its Monitor App Installer. This action follows customer complaints about the app being installed automatically via Windows Update. LG has agreed to remove the McAfee pop-up as an immediate step. Microsoft is working with LG to improve the user experience for their customers. Users can manually uninstall the LG Monitor App Installer from their Windows settings.
