MP high court seeks state’s reply on ‘teacherless’ government schools

Madhya Pradesh High Court has issued notice to the state government regarding schools. Nearly 1,900 government schools are reportedly running without any teachers assigned. An audit revealed 1,895 schools had no teachers, including those with enrolled students. Teachers are also unevenly posted, with some schools having excess staff. The court seeks to address this violation of children’s right to education.
