A special NIA court convicted all ten accused in the 2013 Jhiram Valley Maoist attack. This attack killed twenty-nine people, including senior Congress leaders, in Bastar district. The court reserved the quantum of punishment for September sixteenth. Statements from one hundred and one witnesses were recorded during the trial proceedings.
