No 2800 km dash this time: Qamran Iqbal arrives early, ready for Duleep Trophy challenge

Called up less than 24 hours before the Ranji Trophy final, Qamran Iqbal travelled nearly 2,800 km from Srinagar to Hubballi before scoring an unbeaten 160 that helped Jammu and Kashmir win their maiden title. The 24-year-old reflects on the whirlwind journey, J&K’s rise and his ambition to shine in the Duleep Trophy. North Zone will take on West Zone at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) from Sunday.
