‘No question of bringing back Article 370’: BJP hits out at Mirwaiz Umar Farooq

BJP spokesperson Altaf Thakur dismissed Mirwaiz Umar Farooq’s appeal for the restoration of Article 370, reinforcing that the Parliament’s decision to abrogate it was conclusive and confirmed by the Supreme Court. He cautioned against comments that might threaten peace in the Valley, pointing out that Kashmiri youth are now pursuing educational and employment avenues. Thakur also mentioned that Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood would be reinstated when the time is right.
