New Zealand’s impressive victories over India in Bengaluru and Pune have them dreaming of reaching the World Test Championship (WTC) final.
If they win all four of their remaining Tests, they will finish with a percentage of 64.29%. While this may not guarantee qualification, it will certainly keep them in contention. Stead drew inspiration from the inaugural WTC cycle in 2019-21, when New Zealand won six consecutive matches on their path to securing the title.
