Op Firewall: ‘Joshita from Mumbai’, ‘Anvi from Delhi’ and the Pakistani spy trap

Andhra Pradesh’s Counter Intelligence Cell, under “Operation Firewall-2026,” has uncovered an alleged Pakistani espionage network spanning 10 states. Of 18 suspects, 13 are naval personnel. Fake female identities “Joshita Pall” and “Anvi Mehta” allegedly used Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp honeytraps and money offers to extract ship and submarine details. Indian SIM cards, WhatsApp OTPs and crypto payments supported the operation. Two men have been arrested, and the investigation continues.
