Puducherry commission ordered Mahindra and its dealer to refund a customer. The man paid in full for a Mahindra XUV500 in 2013 but never received it. The state commission found Mahindra responsible for the vehicle’s non-delivery. The dealer was also partly blamed for delays in placing the purchase order. Mahindra must refund the full amount and pay compensation to the aggrieved buyer.
