PM: Mookerjee ensured Bengal remained integral part of India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi honored Syama Prasad Mookerjee’s legacy in Kolkata. He highlighted Mookerjee’s efforts to keep Bengal united with India during partition. Mookerjee’s industrial vision established key national institutions for economic strength. The Prime Minister noted Mookerjee’s opposition to separate constitutions and flags. His government fulfilled Mookerjee’s dream by removing Article 370.
