‘Political drama’: DMK skips TVK govt’s all-party MP meet on Delimitation Bill

The DMK party has officially declared it will not participate in a consultation regarding the delimitation of parliamentary constituencies. Kanimozhi Karunanidhi labeled the meeting organized by the state government as mere political theater. She reiterated the DMK’s consistent position on delimitation and called for constitutional changes to uphold the representation of southern states. Additionally, the DMK urged the government to resolve the ongoing Mekedatu dam and Cauvery water disputes.
