PSU BEL acquires land in UP’s Chitrakoot to manufacture ‘desi Iron Dome’ Kusha system

Bharat Electronics Limited is establishing a new manufacturing unit in Uttar Pradesh’s defence corridor, investing over Rs 600 crore. This facility will produce next-generation missiles, radar systems, and India’s own ‘Iron Dome,’ aiming to boost indigenous defence capabilities and reduce foreign dependency. The project is expected to create significant employment and foster industrial growth in the state.
