Puducherry offers up to Rs 40,000 to repair thatched homes of ex-servicemen: Who can apply?

Puducherry’s Sainik Welfare Department offers financial aid for house repairs. Eligible ex-servicemen and their families can receive up to Rs 40,000. This grant assists with re-thatching and general repair costs for thatched homes. Beneficiaries receive funds directly to their bank accounts after approval. Applications are processed offline through the Rajya Sainik Board.
