Real estate firm told to pay customer Rs 60K a month over white sandalwood deal

A consumer commission ordered a real estate firm to pay monthly lease amounts. The company failed to honor a lease agreement for a sandalwood plantation investment. The customer invested Rs 17.5 lakh in 2023 for agricultural land. The commission awarded Rs 60,000 monthly, plus compensation and litigation costs. The company must comply with the order within 45 days.
