A man in Bhongaon town reportedly shot his daughter in the head after a marriage dispute. Shazia, aged 19, resisted her father’s choice of suitor, insisting on marrying her own love. The incident occurred while she was asleep, leading to critical injuries. Shazia’s mother immediately took her to the hospital for treatment after the shooting. The father was arrested soon after the incident was reported to the police.
