Right wing commentator TG Mohandas gets bail over controversial remarks on NEET student protest

Mohandas was produced before the Thiruvananthapuram Additional Chief Judicial First Class Magistrate Court for remand proceedings. Judge Mithun Gopi G S granted him bail after hearing arguments from both sides. Police had taken Mohandas into custody from his residence in Mattancherry, Kochi, on Sunday evening. His arrest was formally recorded on Monday. The prosecution asked the court to allow Mohandas to remain in custody for further investigation.
