SIM Card rules changing: What you can do and cannot do after August 24

New SIM card regulations will take effect from August twenty-fourth. Telecom operators must identify and inform customers exceeding their mobile connection limits. Initially, verification will occur post-activation, with a move to real-time checks by November. Subscribers in most of India can hold nine connections, while others have six. This system aims to prevent individuals from obtaining connections beyond the prescribed limit.
