‘Sought by MPs across party lines’: Speaker Om Birla says report on Justice Yashwant Varma to be tabled in Monsoon Session

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla announced that the probe committee’s report on Justice Yashwant Varma will be presented during the upcoming Monsoon Session, following requests from MPs across parties. Justice Varma resigned in April after facing impeachment proceedings due to the recovery of burnt currency notes from his residence. The report’s tabling marks a significant step in the ongoing process.
