Stock market holiday: Are NSE, BSE closed for trading on Ganesh Chaturthi?

On September 14, stock markets will halt trading in observance of Ganesh Chaturthi. While equity derivatives will remain suspended for the day, the commodity market will only partially close during the morning session. Trading will pick back up in the evening session. Investors should keep these adjustments in mind as they plan their trading activities around the festival.
