Stopped at Shambhu border on way to Delhi: Why are farmers protesting again

Farmers from Punjab were stopped at the Shambhu border while heading to Delhi. They are protesting the proposed India-United States trade deal announced in February. Their primary concern involves the agriculture and dairy sectors within the agreement. Farmers fear cheaper US imports will lower domestic crop prices significantly. They also demand a legal guarantee on Minimum Support Price for their produce.
