Supreme Court may get 3 judges today, to be one short of full strength

The Union law ministry has announced the appointment of three judges to the Supreme Court. Justice Sunita Agarwal, Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya, and Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh have been elevated. These judges were previously chief justices of their respective high courts and will be sworn in soon. With these appointments, the Supreme Court remains one judge short of its sanctioned strength.
