Tata Trusts to alter clauses which bar non-Zoroastrians

Tata Trusts is seeking to amend a century-old provision barring non-Zoroastrians from serving as trustees of the Bai Hirabai Jamsetji Tata Navsari Charitable Institution. This move follows a challenge by a former trustee and aims to align the trust deed with modern values. Separately, a lawyer alleges violations of the Maharashtra Public Trusts Act by SRTT regarding perpetual trustee appointments.
