Telangana CM directs officials to prepare El Nino action plan

Telangana’s chief minister A Revanth Reddy convened an urgent meeting to tackle the repercussions of El Nino, focusing on essential needs in agriculture, water, and electricity. The region has faced a 17 percent deficit in monsoon rainfall, leading to drought conditions. Reddy underscored the need for community engagement in responsible energy use and awareness, announcing a follow-up session with ministers to explore agricultural strategies in light of these challenges.
