Toxic capsules, 50kg rat poison’: How Pune man planned to poison 15,000 people in Mumbai

Fayyaz Premji was arrested for attempting to poison 15,000 people during a Moharrum procession in Mumbai. He ordered over 50 kg of toxic zinc phosphide and assembled capsules while staying at a lodge. The police detained him during the procession after he allegedly distributed these capsules. Preliminary evaluations suggest that the capsules contained zinc phosphide, while a forensic report is pending.
