Two builders jailed for two years for failing to hand over possession of flat to buyers

Two construction firm partners received two-year jail sentences for failing to complete a flat. They also faced a ten thousand rupee fine each from the commission. The builders were ordered to complete the flat and obtain occupancy certificates. Complainants approached the commission after the builders failed to comply with the earlier order. The commission found the builders willfully disobeyed its directives regarding the flat.
