Uber to buy Delivery Hero in $15 billion deal

Uber will buy Germany’s Delivery Hero for $14.8 billion. This creates the largest food delivery group outside China. The acquisition helps Uber compete with rivals like Just Eat. Uber expects the transaction to finish in the second half of next year. Together, both companies will nearly double their market presence.
