UK couple face demolition order for home built for disabled daughter over planning row

A Wiltshire couple who built a four-bedroom home for their disabled daughter in 2022 now face a council demolition order following a planning dispute. The property, built on Green Belt land, includes a basement and decking that were not part of the approved plans. The couple have appealed to the Planning Inspectorate, with a decision expected in autumn.
