‘UP no longer Bimaru state’: CM Yogi says mafia crushed, encephalitis eradicated; Akhilesh flags gaps

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated the state has shed its “Bimaru” image. He highlighted improvements in healthcare, connectivity, and law and order across Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav criticized the state’s healthcare system. Yadav alleged significant shortages of doctors and paramedical staff in government hospitals. He promised free treatment and medicines for the poor if his party returns to power.
