US stock market today: Wall Street mixed as earnings reports drive key indices

The S&P 500 gained 0.2%, remaining close to the record high it reached on Tuesday. By 9:53 a.m. Eastern time, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 21 points, or less than 0.1%, while also trading near its all-time high. The Nasdaq composite advanced 0.2%.
