Watch: PM Modi inaugurates Rs 4,900 crore Chennai Metro Phase II stretch, rides train with CM Vijay

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Poonamallee-Vadapalani stretch of the Chennai Metro Rail Project on Sunday, a major endeavor costing about Rs 4,900 crore with an innovative 3.7-km double-decker design. Daily services will kick off from October 12, operating from 7 am to 9 pm with a start time at 4 pm.
