‘We know he is present with us’: Ronaldo, Portugal pay tribute to Jota after win over Croatia

Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal paid tribute to late teammate Diogo Jota after a dramatic 2-1 World Cup win over Croatia. Ronaldo wore Jota’s No. 21 shirt after the match and scored a historic equaliser, becoming the oldest player to score in a men’s World Cup knockout game. Gonçalo Ramos netted the winner as Portugal advanced to face Spain next Monday.
